Miss Lila Shell is the Queen of Doga, the Home Yoga Mascot, and the best friend you always wish you always had. Catch her in class doing her pranayama, dogdown and updog. Her favorite posture is savasana and if you listen closely you will hear her snoring after a hard class.

Co-owner. Scott’s teaching style follows what he calls, “Li-La” yoga. The yoga of Sacred Play. Scott believes that humor is the highest form of intelligence and the gateway to a life of joy. Be ready to work, be ready to smile (no puckermouths allowed), be ready to learn more than mere yoga asana.

Co-owner of Home Yoga OC, Katlyn teaches all types of classes, from a gentle wall class to full-blown vinyasa. Katlyn brings a deep knowledge of sequences and can adapt to any practitioner. In Katlyn’s other life, you will find her in front of a college classroom teaching her first love: Ancient Art History.
We’re a family—some of us related, some of us chosen, and some of us furry. We spend our days teaching, practicing, laughing, and occasionally reminding each other where the props live. What connects us is a genuine love for yoga, for this space, and for the community we get to hold.

Kat trained at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles and brings precise, heart-first Iyengar teaching to every class. Expect meticulous attention to alignment, thoughtful hands‑on adjustments, and patient refinement as you work toward stronger, safer postures. Kat loves props: blankets, bolsters, blocks, chairs, and makes full use of the Iyengar wall to meet students where they are and deepen the experience. Come for technique, stay for the clarity, and the quiet confidence that follows.

Melissa teaches a true Vinyasa class that moves you smoothly from pose to pose with breath‑led sequencing and clear cues. A retired educator, she brings classroom-savvy teaching, thoughtful progression, and an eye for accessible challenge to every practice. A lifelong practitioner, Melissa blends steady technique with joyful energy... and yes, she makes the best playlists to carry you through the flow. Come for the flow, stay for the tunes (and maybe a playlist swap after class).

Erin found yoga about 15 years ago during recovery, and what started as awkward stillness became the practice that helped her breathe, belong, and laugh again. She completed her 200‑hour certification at Ra University (Irvine) in March 2025 and jumped straight into teaching Vinyasa with infectious enthusiasm. Certified in dynamic styles like yogalates and weighted yoga, Erin blends playful, sweaty flows with smart strength work. Expect a challenging class with plenty of smiles and real‑world empathy.
