With a large studio of 1500 square feet, Home Yoga hosts intimate classes where everyone has space to move. Our non-heated classes rely on the environment to provide what it was meant to...the environment. There is nothing superficial here. There are no mirrors to distract you from your practice. You won’t have to look at yourself critically, you won’t have to compare yourself to others. You will notice that there is portrait of Genesha on the Eastern facing wall of the studio in honor of our deep yogic traditions. You will also notice that sandy-footed surfer guy is as welcoming and welcomed as LuLu Lemon wearing yoga mom. Our space is democratic and reflects our mission to provide family a home that believes in our thousands of years worth of tradition while never being dogmatic or exclusionary. Outside of the studio itself, you will find (for the time being) a covered space to practice born out an innovative and entrepreneurial drive during those dark days of Covid. You see, that Art History Prof and that English Prof also built this space with their own two hands. Any flaws can be directly attributed to these two not knowing what they are doing and doing it anyway. The front room is being developed into a small used surfboard shop where all sorts of items are on display. House Rental boards and used boards will be available. Homemade surfboard wax is here. We even have a small bookstore and herbal products for you. Come check it out. Talk surfing, books, tea, art, incense, essential oils, sports, or spirituality. We’re down.
